The Dutch Policy Lab works on the transition towards a sustainable and healthy food system in the Netherlands. The current Dutch food system is mainly built on the ‘No More Hunger’ policy after the second world war. In the change towards a modern food system several shifts are necessary: from cost price orientation towards sustainability orientation, from production and single issue orientation to a food system orientation, from technology focused to socially acceptable, from research to real innovation. The Policy Lab aims to contribute to bringing about these ambitioned changes in the food system by using a multi-stakeholder approach.
