In Flanders there are already a lot of initiatives around food systems. This Policy Lab will make an inventory of the existing initiatives about food system transformation and will play a central role in translating the outcome of these initiatives to the policy agenda and Research & Innovation (R&I) agenda in Flanders and Belgium. The focus of the Flanders Policy Lab is food and health because of existing policy initiatives about food waste, climate change and sustainable food. The first brainstorm session took place in June 2018 and in November the first national meeting was organised.
