The ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Policy and the ministry of Health confirmed their support to the Fit4Food2030 project by running a policy lab in Basque Country. The policy lab will be coordinated by two coordinators from the University of the Basque Country. The policy lab coordinators have good connections with policy makers through their involvement in other regional initiatives. The Basque policy lab aims to obtain key strategic points of inflection that through R&I, with transferable vocation, will help a move towards a Basque Region with a Sustainable and Healthy food system.
