Project Description
The Vrije Universiteit (VU) Amsterdam is one of Europe’s leading research universities. The Athena Institute, a research department within VU’s Faculty of Science, specifically studies and designs interfaces between science and society. Its work seeks to increase academic and societal understanding of innovation processes, to enrich science through increased societal legitimacy and improved research utilization, and to improve awareness of how innovation may benefit the sustainability, equity and fairness of society.
The VU contributes to the FIT4FOOD2030 project by developing and guiding the overall methodology behind the FOOD2030 platform and ensuring its sustainability beyond the project. Furthermore, as Coordinator, the VU ensures the smooth delivery of project milestones and deliverables, as well as effective collaboration within the consortium.
