FIT4FOOD2030 coordinator Prof Jacqueline Broerse explains the concept of ‘systems thinking’ as the fundament of the FIT4FOOD2030 project. She talks about current issues in the food system, why previous approaches of tackling problems have not worked and how system transformation can help bring about the changes we need to make the EU food system future-proof, in line with the European Commission’s FOOD 2030 initiative.
